Situated near the centre on the S. boundary of the parish, 2� miles N.E. of Longford Town. Contains 923 acres.
This very large townland is all under cultivation. It is generally known as Upper and Lower Corboy. Upper Corboy contains a Meeting House and a Schoolhouse, and Lower Corboy has a good corn mill and kiln. The td. has several ancient forts, but is only thinly inhabited The Mail Coach road from Longford to Edgeworthstown passes through its S.E. extremity.
