Situated in the S.E. extremity of the parish. Bounded on the N. by Esker South and Soran; E. by Cavan in the ph. of Clonbroney; S. by Garvary; and W. by Rhine and Aghaboy. Contains 244 acres.
Mostly arable and grazing land, with detached portions of bog at the N. and S. extremities. The road from Newtownforbes to Ballinalee passes through its centre. It contains a limestone quarry, a gravel pit, and a smithy.
