This parish is bounded by the parishes of Kilglass and Agharra in the County Longford, and by the parishes of Rathaspick and Kilmacnevan in the County Westmeath.
It contains 4,023a. Or. 24p., nearly � of which is under bog; the remainder is arable except for 31a. 2r. 22p. of water. It has two demesnes, viz. Fox Hall and Newport, and is the property of Mr. Fox, who holds by deed for ever.
