This td. is situated in the N. side of the parish. It is surrounded by the tds. of Mornin and Cloonscott in this parish, Castlereagh Mountain in Moydow Parish, and Keel in Kilglass Ph.
It is the property of F.T. Jessop, Esq., held by a deed for ever. It contains 269a. 1r. 21p., all arable & pasture except about 36 acres of bog. Co. Cess - �17 6s. 8d. The N.E. and W. parts of this td. are wet and swampy; the centre and the N.W. parts are dry and good. It has not any roads, and the lanes are in very bad repair. Indeed, there are little or no improvements of any kind in this td.
