This td. is situated in the N. side of the parish. It is surrounded by the tds. of Cloonkeen, Mornin and Torboy in this parish, and Curraghmore, Cloghan and Castlereagh Mountain in Moydow Ph.
It is the property of F.T. Jessop, Esq., held by a deed for ever. It contains 369a. 1r. 20p., and is generally flat, dry and in a pretty good state of cultivation. It contains about 20 acres of bog. Co. Cess - �30 18s. 9d. Its roads and lanes are neither good nor well laid out. It has two forts and one Trigl. Point called Cloonscott.
