It is an interactive website where one can enjoy,discover and learn. It also hosts the Public Library Online Information Portal.
Irish Times Digital Archive.
The Irish Times Digital Archive is now available online at all Longford County Library branches through www.askaboutireland.ie (Select the Irish Times Digital Archive Link) or the Irish Times website www.irishtimes.com. The archive contains the entire Irish Times from it's first edition in 1859 to the present. It is fully searchable - just enter your search term and then view the results or else browse the paper by selecting the edition you require.
Use www.borrowbooks.ie to search across the Irish public libraries' online catalogues to locate and request an item which is not held in your own library service.
