This townland is situated � mile N.E. of the Church in the townland of Rathmore, and contains 355 acres, including 6a. 2r. 12p. of water.
From the S. boundary a road, leading from St. Johnstown to Arvagh, passes E. through the centre of this td.There are iron mines near the N. boundary. On the S.E. boundary is a lough. Nearly one-sixth of this td. is bog; the remainder is tillage and pasture.
