In the N.E. extremity of the parish. Bounded on the N. by Carrigallen By., Co. Leitrim (Cloone Ph.); N.E. and E. by Killashandra Ph., Co. Cavan; S. by Drumhalry; and W. by Aghagah and Drumurry. Contains 789 acres, including 42 acres of water.
Mostly arable and grazing land, with several detached portions of bog and shrubbery. It also contains a part of Nawraher Lough at its E. extremity. Part of the road from Drumlish to Arvagh forms portion of its southern, boundary. It contains two ancient forts, a school in about the centre, and several lime kilns and spring wells.
