The Longford Heritage Office is hosting an online information session on conservation grants for protected structures and historic buildings in Co. Longford for 2021. We will primarily focus on the Built Heritage Investment Scheme and Historic Structures Fund, which are granted by the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage and administered in Co. Longford by the Heritage Officer.
We will also look at the Heritage Council's Traditional Farm Buildings Scheme, which is for those within the GLAS programme.
On the evening we will be joined by two local architects Jane Meade and Nick Sweeney who will give some practical guidance on the schemes. In addition two applicants, Ciaran Cousins and Ronan Daly will share their experiences in undertaking essential repairs to their homes under the schemes.
The panel will be available to take questions.
