Is é aidhm fhoriomlán Phlean Oidhreachta Chontae an Longfoirt chun rannpháirtíocht agus léirthuiscint oidhreacht an Longfoirt a spreagadh chun go mbaineann gach duine taitneamh as, chomh maith le cosaint na hoidhreachta a fhorbairt agus tacú leis don ghlúin amach anseo.

D'ullmhaigh Fóram Oidhreachta Chontae Longfoirt an Plean Oidhreachta Chontae an Longford 2019-2024. Is grúpa comhpháirtíochta é an Fóram Oidhreachta, bunaithe ag Comhairle Chontae an Longfoirt, déanta suas de ionadaí tofa, oifigí an udarás áitiúlam agus ionadaí ó eagrachtaí poiblí agus stáit, grúpaí forbairt, chomh maith le baill de earnáil na talmhaíochta, oideachas agus ghnó. Éascaíonn an tOifigeach Oidhreachta an fóram.

The County Longford Heritage Plan 2019-2024

Incorporating the Longford Biodiversity Action Plan

The overall aim of the County Longford Heritage Plan 2019-2024 to encourage engagement and appreciation of Longford’s heritage for the enjoyment of all, as well as developing and supporting its protection for future generations.

The Draft County Longford Heritage Plan 2019 - 2024 was prepared by the County Longford Heritage Forum. The Longford Heritage Forum is a partnership group, set up by Longford County Council, comprising elected representatives, local authority officers and representatives from local community and heritage groups, regional and state agencies, local development groups, as well as the farming, education and business sectors. The Forum is facilitated by the Council’s Heritage Officer.
