This is a great page turner based on a fictional mother & baby home in Ireland in the 1970's. 

The details are based on real Homes and the story centres on 'Katie', a nurse who worked in one of these Homes.  She kept a box containing a notebook with details of each child born & their I.D. bracelets.  Katie sets out on a journey to reunite adopted people with their birth mothers.  The book tells of her experiences along the way including a hidden secret regarding Katie herself.  And best of all it has a happy ending!
