10.15: Lecture - Padraic Colum and his Literary Revival networks: "the only sane man in Irish literature" by Prof. Margaret Kelleher, UCD
Margaret Kelleher is Professor and Chair of Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama at University College Dublin. Previously, she was the founding director of An Foras Feasa, the Humanities Research Institute at Maynooth University. She is currently working on a joint biography of Padraic and Mary Colum.

11.40: Lecture – Padraic Colum and Arthur Griffith: History and Biography by Prof. Emeritus Colum Kenny, DCU
Colum Kenny is Professor Emeritus in the School of Communications at Dublin City University, where he served as chair of the Master’s in Journalism programme. As well as having a distinguished career in journalism and the media, he is a barrister and historian. His book The Enigma of Arthur Griffith: ’Father of Us All’ was published in 2020.

2.00: Short Introduction to Colum Country by Sean O Suilleabhain.
Seán O Suilleabhain will give a short talk on the Colum Family Connections with Bunlahy and the children from the local primary school will remember Padraic Colum.
A special tribute to the late Clíona Ní Shúilleabháin, including a tree-planting ceremony in Clíona’s memory at St Guasacht’s NS, Bunlahy inspiration for the Big Tree at Bunlahy.
3.00: Concluding remarks by Cllr Seamus Butler, Padraic Colum Gathering Committee.
