This td. is situated in the S.W. extremity of the parish, adjoining Clonbroney. It contains 539 acres.
From the cross roads in this td. there are two roads, one leading to Carrigallen and one running S.E., passing through the E. boundary and meeting the road from Ballinalee to Granard. Another road at the S. end of this td. leads from Ballinalee to Granard. There is a limestone quarry at the S.E. end of the td. There is a large patch of bog at the N.W. end; the remainder is under tillage and pasture.
