Longford Libraries' sensory resource collection comprises of specialist equipment, toys, and books. The sensory items have been carefully chosen to provide a relaxing, comforting, or stimulating sensory experience for people who might benefit from using them. The sensory toy collection also offers specific toys and equipment which can help parents, caregivers, or professionals on their sensory journeys in figuring out what items help themselves or the person they are supporting.

These may be accessed free of charge by anyone who lives, works, or is in education in Longford.
