This townland lies on the road from Carrickboy to Ballina-carrow Bridge, and is surrounded by the townlands of Lis-cormick and Deer Park in this parish; Killeenboy in Abbeyshrule Parish and Knockagh in the parish of Taghshinny.
It is the property of Colonel Henry White, held by deed for ever. It contains 72 acres, the whole of which is cultivated, and pays �6 7s. 11d. to County Cess. On its east side is an ancient fort, and the road from Carrickboy to Ballinacarrow Bridge runs along its north-east side.
