Situated N. of the centre of the parish, about 2� miles S. of Longford Town. Contains 195 acres.
Only partially cultivated, being composed principally of rough boggy land. There is a collection of houses S. of the centre. An ancient fort stands near the N. boundary, and another is S. of the village. The Royal Canal comes tangent to the western boundary of the td.
