Is situated on the east side of Inchcleraun, 7 chains E. of the Clogas or Square Belfry.
This is the spot, according to tradition, where Queen Maev was killed, while bathing at a well, by a stone hurled at her from Elfeet Castle. There is no trace of a well here at present; but the place is pointed out by the inhabitants with great confidence to this day.
