This td. is situated in the S.E. corner of the parish, and about 2 miles in the above direction from Newtownforbes. It contains 316 acres.
About one-fifth of this td. is bog; the remainder is arable interspersed with portions of plantation. A bye road from Longford to Newtownforbes passes through it. It contains 2 ancient forts, one situated near the eastern boundary, the other at the corner of an orchard near a village in the West of the townland.
