Situated N. of the centre of the parish, and about 2� miles N. of the town of Newtownforbes. Contains 326 acres.
The road from Newtownforbes to Cloone passes through this td. About 2/3 of the td. is under cultivation; the remainder is bog, which is situated along its N. and W. boundaries, on the latter of which is a fort, called Cloontagh Fort.
