Situated about 1 mile S.E. of Newtownforbes, on a bye road between the road from Newtownforbes to Longford and the road from Longford to Drumlish.
This td. is well inhabited and all cultivated, with the exception of 2 small portions of rough ground situated one in the south, and the other in the north, extremities of the td. Near the N. side of mentioned bye road there is an ancient fort.
