On the southern shore of Lough Gowna, and bordering the County of Cavan. Contains 557 acres.
Contains a great deal of arable mixed with patches of bog and furze. A road to Cavan runs across the td. and there are many farms, several forts, a cave, and a well, called St. Patrick's Well. In the N.E. there is a subdivision, called West Quarters.
