This townland is situated in the N.E. side of the parish, and is bounded by the tds. of Listreenagh, Ballyglassin and Ballycloghan in this parish and by Lyanmore, Cross and Meeltenagh tds. in Ardagh Ph.
It belongs to Sir G. Featherston, held by deed for ever, and contains 801a. 1r. 36p., all cultivated except about 17 acres of bog and 3 acres of wood. It has 4 ancient forts, and is a flat and wet townland.
