In the E. extremity of the parish. Bounded on the N. by Fihoragh; E. by Drumnawall, Woodland and Kilgarve, all in Killashandra Ph., Co. Cavan; S.E. by Enaghan; S. by Rosduff; and W. by Birrinagh, Moyne and Aghagah. Contains 895 acres, including 12 acres of water.
The greater part of this td. is arable, grazing, and rocky pasture, with several inconsiderable detached portions of bog, etc. The roads from Drumlish to Arvagh
and Longford pass through it. It contains a clay slate quarry, a gravel pit, lime kilns, several farm houses, a school, and a spring well.
