This td. is situated in the S.E. corner of the parish, on the road from Keenagh to Mullingar. It is bounded by the tds. of Killeendowd, Carrickedmond and Ballynamanagh in this parish, and Streamstown, Taghshinny Glebe and Taghshinny in Taghshinny Ph.
It is the property of the Countess Dowager of Rosse, held under a deed for ever. It contains 268a. 3r. 14p., the whole of which is flat, dry and good land in a high state of cultivation. Co. Cess - �53 1s. 4d. It has one fort, and its lanes and roads are good
