This td. is situated in the S.W. part of the parish, on the road from Keenagh to Longford and Mullingar. It is bounded by the tds. of Abbeyderg, Torboy and Currycreaghan in this parish, and Lislea and Glenmore in Kilcommock Ph.
It is the property of Mr. Crawford, held by a deed for ever. It contains 168a. Or. 4p., all in a high cultivation except about 1a. 3r. of plantation and 1a. Or. 19p. of water. It has Loughan House and Lawn, and a lough called Gate Lough. It is well intersected with roads which are very good. Co. Cess - �40 10s. Od.
