Creative Ireland Grants 2025 Open Call

Creative Ireland 2025 Open Call invites applications to fund innovative creative and cultural initiatives in County Longford. 

Events and projects focused on cultural activity involving the arts, heritage, film, and animation, as well as projects which were ‘as Gaeilge’ were all welcome to apply.

Events must take place between January and October 2025.

Applications should aim to:

  • Increase the choice of creative activities for all age groups
  • Include an element from Arts, Heritage, and Libraries as part of the project
  • Deliver creative engagement opportunities in-person or as a blended offering
  • Be scalable, sustainable, and show ambition
  • There must be an element of working on collaborative projects with other organisations and community groups to ensure grassroots participation with a focus on Arts, Heritage, and Libraries. Creative projects with a climate change focus are also very sought-after

All invoices must be submitted to creativeireland@longfordcoco.ie and events completed or scheduled before 1 November 2025.

Applications are limited to one per person/group and grants awarded are up to a maximum of €5,000.

The Creative Ireland 2025 Open Call Application Form and supporting documentation must be submitted by email to creativeireland@longfordcoco.ie by 12 noon on Friday 10 January 2025.

Cruinniú na nÓg Grant 2025 Open Call

As part of Creative Ireland also, the Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 Open Call invites applications to fund free creative activities for children and young people (up to 18 years old). Funded activities must start or end on Saturday, 14 June (to be confirmed) 2025.

Cruinniú na nÓg projects can be developmental with several workshops. The project must start or end on Saturday 14 June. Any project starting on Saturday 14 June must be completed by 5 July 2025.

Applications should aim to:

  • Engage children of all abilities and be as inclusive as possible
  • Increase the choice of creative activities available to children and young people, including harder-to-reach groups
  • Deliver creative engagement opportunities either in-person or as a blended offering
  • Projects can be developmental with several workshops
  • Be scalable, sustainable, and show ambition
  • There must be an element of working on collaborative projects with other organisations and community groups to ensure grassroots participation with a focus on Arts, Heritage, and Libraries. Creative projects with a climate change focus are also very sought-after
