This townland lies on the road from Carrickboy to Ballinacarrow Bridge, and is surrounded by the town-lands of Deer Park in this parish, Lissaquill in Kilglass Ph., and Killeenboy in the Parish of Abbeyshrule.

It is the property of Col. Henry White, held by deed for ever. It contains 41� acres, the whole of which is cultivated. On its south side is a quarry, and the road from Carrickboy to Ballinacarrow Bridge runs along its west end.
