Is situated W. from the centre of the parish and about 1� miles from Newtownforbes. It is bounded on the West by part of Lough Forbes, on the North-East by the tds. of Deerpark and Kilmacannon, and on the South by Castleforbes Demesne. Contains 224 acres.
A great part of this td. is under wood; the remainder is arable. A bye road passes through it, and meets the road from Newtownforbes to Mohill at an ancient fort near the north side of the td. The fort is planted with trees
