Lies to the E. of the town of Granard, part of which is situated in this townland. Contains 201a, 2r. 29p.
Is all under tillage and town parks. The road to Edgeworthstown and Abbeylara runs from Granard through it. It contains several forts, one of which near the town is called Baker's Fort.
