This td. Is situated in the S.E. of the parish, N.W. of the road from Abbeyshrule Village to Legan Village. It is bounded by the tds. of Lisaquil, Tully, Kilglass, Cloonagh, Treel and Smithfield in this parish, and by the tds. of Ardanragh and Vicarstown in Agharra Ph.
It is the property of the Countess Dowager of Rosse, held by deed for ever, and contains 277a. 3r. 11p., all cultivated. It has 3 ancient forts and one limestone quarry, and pays �19 10s. 10d. Co. Cess.
