Bounded on the N. and N.E. by Beaghmore (Carrigallen Ph., Co. Leitrim) and Drumurry; E. by Aghagah; S. by Moyne; and W. by Farmullagh in By. of Longford and Tully S. in Carrigallen Ph., Co. Leitrim. Contains 730 acres, including 20 acres of water.
The greater part of this td. is arable and pasture. There is also a considerable portion of bog. The td. contains a Roman Catholic Chapel, a National School,
a Classical School, another school, and a corn mill, kiln and mill pond S.E. of the Black Lough. There is cross roads going by the name of the adjacent townland i.e., Moyne.
