This td. is situated in the west side of the parish, and is surrounded by the tds. of Corralough, Magheraveen, Derryloughbannow, Barnacor and Mount Davis in this parish;, and by the tds. of Derryaroge, Rapparee Hill and Annaghmore in Killashee Ph.
It is the property of Lord Forbes, held by deed for ever, and contains 999a. 3r. 10p., about ⅓ of which is cultivated; the remainder is flat, wet bog. The road from Lanesborough to Longford runs through its N. end, and it has 2 ancient forts and one trigl. point. Co. Cess - �19 6s. 10d.
