This td. is situated in the N.W. of the parish. It is bounded by Doonacurry and Cornacarta in Kilcommock Ph. on the W.; by Tirlickeen on the N.; by Lissanisky on the E.; and by Cartronboy and Laragh on the S.
It contains 245a. 2r. 5p., of which about two-fifth is bog and rocky ground; the remainder is under only middling state of cultivation. The houses are in good repair. The Royal Canal passes through its centre. It is the property of -- Ledwith, Esq., held by deed for ever. Co. Cess - �9 6s. 8d.
