Lies 50 chains N. of Cloonshannagh House. The eastern boundary divides the parish from that of Granard.
There is a patch of bog in the N. corner; another on the E. side; the rest is under pasture and tillage. Near the southern boundary, the road from Edgeworthstown branches off in different directions to Granard and Castlepollard. There is a limestone quarry in the southern part of this townland.
