The Heritage Council supports a wide range of heritage projects throughout the country through their annual grants programme.

Details for each year's grants are typically within the first three months of the year, but can occur at any time of the year.

Current Heritage Council Grants
Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2024
The Community Heritage Grant Scheme supports heritage-focused NGOs, voluntary and community groups.
Applications are now open until the 25th of March 2024. This is via an online application process only.

Traditional Farm Buildings Grant Scheme 2024
This is annual grants scheme for the conservation and repair of traditional farm buildings and related structures, for farmers participating in the following Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine schemes:
- Approved participants in ACRES.
- Participants in EIP (European Innovation Partnership) Calls 1, 2 and 3, Hen Harrier and Pearl Mussel Projects and The Burren Programme who were an active participant as of 31st December 2022 or had completed the full term of the contract for the relevant EIP, or have completed a five-year contract, as appropriate.
- Approved participants of the Organic Farming Scheme
