Grants to support communities and owners of historic buildings in Co. Longford
The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage recently announced three conservation grant schemes for 2025. Click on the links below to find out more information and how to apply.
For large-scale and necessary conservation repairs to buildings on the Longford County Council Record of Protected Structures, and a limited number of other historic building types under exceptional circumstances. Closing date for applications 17 January 2025.
For repairs to historic and traditional thatched buildings. Closing date for applications is the 17 January 2025.
Supports communities in a range of measures relating to archaeological monuments, from the development of Conservation Management Plans, and access plans to the conservation repair of archaeological monuments. Closing date for applications is the 31 January 2025.
